We like it and recommend it to potential buyers
Very sturdy, visually appealing, and lots of fun I must say.
I dreaded the idea of putting this scooter together. Yet it was simple enough I had it ready in less than 5 minutes.
My daughter absolutely loves it. Like with most ride on toys I have purchsed in the past, I was concerned it may just go too slow for actual enjoyment. The E300 was pleasantly surprising in that it does not go too slow or too fast. It can go upto approximately 20 mph which should be more than enough for any young person not yet old enough to drive.
Another pro we like about it is that the E300 does not require the step and push like you do with a skate board to get going. The E100's you do, and they're much slower than the E300. Yet, consider the age differences of kids using them and perhaps slower may be just right for a younger child.
It does come with some charge to it, but be sure to follow manufacturer's recommendation of charging it the first time for 18 hours prior to use. We have no complaints as of yet on the range of time it runs for. My child has been getting an adequate amount of run time since she's gotten it and never less than 40 minutes.
However, I would have to agree on the time it takes to recharge. I think perhaps, if Razor made it a portable rechargeable battery, perhaps we would consider investing in a back up battery to have continuous use of the scooter while the other battery would recharge.
Other than that? I find this scooter to be fun and available at a good price.*By CkC zone
Best Scooter Ever
The good: My son loves this scooter! He was able to ride it in slightly wet conditions with no problem. It was even able to go up a slightly steep hill with effort. The speed is perfect and the brakes are great. It's also quiet so you can use it without neighbors getting mad.
The bad: It's 52 pounds so it's hard to lift. The throttle isn't variable speed like they said it was; it's single speed. Also, because the batteries are lead acid they can suffer from "the memory effect".
Bottom line: This is probably the best scooter you can get. It's powerful, easy-to-use, and pretty safe.*By Flyguy
Awesome Scooter for the price
This is a terrific scooter for the price. What i like most is the sturdy frame and easy assembly(took about 5 minutes). When you get this scooter it is already charged but is not fully charged so dont expect the battery to last very long at top speed. The only thing I dont like is it isnt a throttle but the what it does have is like one. I also dont like that it is louder than most of the other electric
scooters...although it is not that loud. Dont remember the bad things though, just remember that this is a great scooter well worth the price.I give it 2 thumbs up.
